List of documents for granting / extending the right to temporary stay in the Republic of Moldova for family reunification for family members of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova:

1. Application form;
2. The national passport, in original and a copy of it, with corresponding entry stamp applied by the border police (which confirms the date and place of crossing the state border), and a copy of the long stay visa (for foreigners entering based on visa);
3. Marriage certificate, in original and the copy of it, transcribed in the Register of Civil Status of the Republic of Moldova;
4. Valid identity card of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova, in original and a copy of it;
5. Child's birth certificate, in original and a copy of it, transcribed in the Register of Civil Status of the Republic of Moldova;
6. Proof of living space (document confirming the existence of living space; 
7. Criminal record from the country of origin, legalized / apostilled (as established), translated into the state language and authenticated notary or consular;
8. Copy of the medical insurance valid for at least 3 months except for children;
9. One color photo, size 3x4.

For extending the right to temporary stay, the foreigner does not need to present: the criminal record and have to be submitted 30 days befor the expiration the resident permit;

Person has to present copy of the residence permit.

Note

1. The documents have to be submitted with at least 30 days before the expiration of the period of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
2. For UE citizens, the documents are submitted 15 days before the expiration of the period of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
3. Failure the deadline of application is sanctioned, according to the art. 333 of the Contraventional Code of the Republic of Moldova

List of documents for granting / extending the right to temporary stay in the Republic of Moldova for family reunification for family members of the foreigners who have the right of stay in the Republic of Moldova:

1. Application form;
2. The national passport, in original and a copy of it, with corresponding entry stamp applied by the border police (which confirms the date and place of crossing the state border), and a copy of the long stay visa (for foreigners entering based on visa);
3. Marriage certificate, in original and the copy of it, legalized / apostilled (in the established manner), translated into the state language and authenticated notary or consular;
4. The original and the copy of the valid identity document of the family member certifying the legal stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova (residence permit or identity card for stateless persons);
5. Copy of child's birth certificate, legalized / apostilled (in the established manner), translated into the state language and authenticated by the notary or consular authority, other documents confirming family relationship;
6. Proof of living space (document confirming the existence of living space); 
7. Criminal record from the country of origin, legalized / apostilled (as established), translated into the state language and authenticated notary or consular;
8. Copy of the medical insurance valid for at least 3 months, except for children;
9. Proof of financial maintenance means in the amount corresponding to the category of right of residence requested;
10. One color photo, size 3x4.

Person has to present  residence permit and copy of the medical insurance, purchased from the National Health Insurance Company.

Note

List of documents granting/extending the right of temporary residence to family members independently:

1. The application in the established form;
2. The original and copy of the foreigner's national passport;
3. The original and copy of the residence permit (for extending the residence permit);
4. The original and the copy of the master's degree certificate (in case of reaching the age of majority), the death certificate or the court decision of dissolution of the marriage, as the case may be;
5. Proof of living space (document confirming the existence of living space); 
6. Criminal record from the country of origin, legalized / apostilled (as established), translated into the state language and authenticated notary or consular;
7. Proof of financial maintenance means in the amount corresponding to the category of right of residence requested;
8. 1 color photo 3x4.

List of documents granting/extending the right of temporary residence to the fiance, citizen of the Republic of Moldova:

1. The application in the established form;
2. The original and copy of the foreigner's national passport;
3. The original and copy of the residence permit (for extending the residence permit);
4. The original of the certificate about the civil status ( unmarried, divorced or the death);
5. Valid identity card of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova, in original and a copy of it;
6. Child's birth certificate, in original and a copy of it, transcribed in the Register of Civil Status of the Republic of Moldova;
7. Proof of living space (document confirming the existence of living space); 
8. Criminal record from the country of origin, legalized / apostilled (as established), translated into the state language and authenticated notary or consular;
9. 1 color photo 3x4.
