Who can benefit from integration activities:

  • foreigners holding a temporary right of residence for family reunification; 
  • foreigners with the right of temporary residence for work purposes; 
  • foreigners with the right of temporary residence for study purposes;
  • foreigners holding the right of temporary residence for humanitarian or religious activities; 
  • foreigners with the right of permanent residence; 
  • persons recognized as stateless persons in the Republic of Moldova.

What are the activities for the integration of foreigners: 

Socio-cultural accommodation sessions: getting to know the values, national traditions and the system of political-administrative organization of the Republic of Moldova will be a step towards integration into society. The session is free of charge and is offered in mun. Chisinau, or at your choice in mun. Balti or mun. Comrat. At the end of the activity you will receive a certificate of participation in the socio-cultural accommodation session.   

State language courses: knowledge of the state language is a prerequisite for permanent residence in the Republic of Moldova and one of the basic prerequisites for economic, social and cultural integration.  
The courses are offered for a fee, on application to the General Inspectorate for Migration. 

The courses can be attended in: 

mun. Chisinau, "Ion Creanga" State Pedagogical University and State University of Moldova; 
mun. Cahul, State University "B. P. Hasdeu"; 
mun. Balti, "Alecu Russo" State University;
At the end of the state language course, the level of knowledge is assessed and a certificate of participation is awarded.

Access to health services: Foreigners employed in the Republic of Moldova on the basis of an individual employment contract, as well as foreign citizens and stateless persons residing in the Republic of Moldova, have the same rights and obligations regarding access to health services as citizens of the Republic of Moldova, under the conditions laid down by law.  

Access to the social protection system: Foreigners have access to the public social insurance system and the national social assistance system under the conditions laid down by law for citizens of the Republic of Moldova.

Access to education: Foreigners have access to pre-school, primary and general secondary education under the same conditions as citizens of the Republic of Moldova. 
Access to secondary vocational, secondary specialised and higher education is under the conditions established by law.  

Information and advice on how to access the labour market: Vocational guidance and training services are provided free of charge on application to the territorial employment agencies or the General Inspectorate for Migration. An employed person benefits from access to health services and social protection services.
