The General Inspectorate for Migration informs that the procedure regarding the documentation of foreign citizens for employment purposes has been modified. The new procedure is applicable to all economic agents, regardless of the number of foreign nationals to be documented.

In order to avoid crowding and optimize the flow of people at the Central Regional Directorate, the following changes have been introduced in the process of obtaining the residence permit card:

  1. Applications for granting or extending the right of temporary stay for employment purposes shall be submitted to one of the Single Service Windows (SSW) of the Regional Directorates within whose territorial jurisdiction the foreign national has temporary residence.
  2. The stage of collecting biometric data (fotography and fingerprints) and the signature for issuing the residence permit card can be carried out at any territorial subdivision of the General Inspectorate for Migration.

Therefore:

The submission of documents for granting or extending the right of temporary stay for employment purposes is carried out at the Central Regional Directorate- Lev Tolstoi, 41 st.

The stage of issuing the residence permit card (collection of biometric data) is carried out as follows:

  • Northern Regional Directorate – appointment by phone: 067244277
  • Southern Regional Directorate (offices in Cahul and Comrat) – appointment by phone: 078747796

For additional clarifications:

  • Operational Management Directorate – appointment by phone: 067149978

The residence permit card will be issued at the Central Regional Directorate of the General Inspectorate for Migration.

This service is not provided on an urgent basis.

The General Inspectorate for Migration recommends that economic agents inform foreign employees in advance about this procedure in order to comply with legal deadlines and avoid possible delays in the documentation process.
