It is worth noting that legal entities with foreign capital registered in the Republic of Moldova, immigrant workers, as well as their managers, have the opportunity to submit online applications for obtaining or extending the right of temporary residence in the country.

The option to remotely submit the application is available on the platform e-migrare.gov.md and can also be accessed via the official website igm.gov.md, in the e-Filling section. This allows users to upload the required documents using an electronic signature, making the entire process digital and providing a fast and convenient experience for foreign citizens.

The main goal of this service is to support and encourage the business environment in the Republic of Moldova.

At the same time, the General Inspectorate for Migration offers ongoing support to investors and guidance in completing and submitting documentation.
Currently, the use of the online platform is optional, but once full implementation is completed, electronic submission of applications will become mandatory in order to reduce crowding at IGM counters designated for foreigners.
