She highlighted the impact of projects implemented over the years in strengthening institutional capacities and enhancing the efficient management of migration processes, as well as the progress achieved by Moldova in aligning with European standards and best practices.

  • Strategic cooperation along migration routes;
  • The future of the international protection regime;
  • Global efforts to attract skills and talents;
  • Return and reintegration in various contexts, including post-conflict recovery.

On the sidelines of the conference, GIM representatives held a bilateral meeting with Ms. Nina Gregori, Executive Director of the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). Discussions focused on updating the EUAA on the latest developments in the national asylum system, the implementation of the ongoing Twinning Project benefiting the GIM, and identifying future areas of cooperation aimed at supporting the Republic of Moldova’s European integration objectives.
