On 19 April, the Temporary Placement Centre for Foreigners (TPCF) of the GIM hosted the visit of the operational team of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX).

The dialog focused on the fundamental rights of foreigners an on Centre’s activity.

The TPCF management noted that over the past months the IGM has improved living conditions for the beneficiaries of the center, these being commitments provided inThe National Action Plan for Moldova's accession to EU for 2024-2027.

We would like to mention that 9 foreigners are currently in public custody at the IGM Centre. Since the beginning of this year, 48 aliens have been taken into public custody. This week 2 escorted removal missions were conducted for 2 citizens from Nigeria and Turkey.
