Associates and shareholders of legal entities with foreign investments registered in the Republic of Moldova

Granting

List of documents required to grant the right of provisional stay to associates/shareholders of legal entities with foreign investments registered in the Republic of Moldova:

  1. The Standard Application Form
  2. Alien's national passport
  3. Extract from the State Register of Legal Entities or, if applicable, extract from the Register of Shareholders
  4. Investment Confirmation from the accredited auditor or statement of withholding of income tax, health insurance premiums and social security contributions attesting to the creation of jobs
  5. Criminal record (in original) from the applicant's country of origin, legalized/apostilled by the authorities of the state of nationality. If the alien has been legally residing for at least two years in a country other than the state of his/her nationality, he/she shall present the criminal record or another document with the same legal value issued by the authorities of the country of residence, translated and legalized/apostilled as well as the document confirming the right of residence.
  6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
  7. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

Extension

List of documents required for extension of the right of provisional stay for associates and shareholders of legal entities with foreign investments registered in the Republic of Moldova:

  1. The Standard Application Form
  2. Alien's national passport
  3. Alien's residence permit
  4. Extract from the State Register of Legal Entities or, if applicable, extract from the Register of Shareholders
  5. Investment Confirmation by the accredited auditor or statement of withholding of income tax, health insurance premiums and social security contributions attesting to the creation of jobs
  6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
  7. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

NOTES:

  1. The documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorized end of foreigner’s stay in the Republic of Moldova.
  2. The EU citizens must submit their documents at least 15 days before the authorized end of their stay in the Republic of Moldova.
  3. Failing to meet the deadline for application is subject to administrative penalties.

Persons in management position

Granting

List of documents required for granting the right of provisional stay to persons in management position:

  1. The Standard Application Form
  2. Alien's national passport
  3. The draft individual employment contract indicating the alien's monthly salary and duties. The administrator, according to the act of incorporation, may present the management contract or the mandate contract.
  4. Investment Confirmation by the accredited auditor or statement of withholding of income tax, health insurance premiums and social security contributions attesting to the creation of jobs
  5. Criminal record (in original) from the applicant's country of origin, legalized/apostilled by the authorities of the state of nationality. If the alien has been legally residing for at least two years in a country other than the state of his/her nationality, he/she shall present the criminal record or another document with the same legal value issued by the authorities of the country of residence, translated and legalized/apostilled as well as the document confirming the right of residence.
