Foreign citizens who have been granted the right of temporary residence on the territory of the Republic of Moldova for family reunification, for studies, for humanitarian, voluntary or religious activities have the opportunity to pay with discount the compulsory health insurance premium for 2021 before the end of March.In this context, the insurance premium can be paid through the Government Electronic Payments Service MPay or at the post offices, commercial banks, including through the territorial agencies of the National Health Insurance Company.Those who wish to pay the insurance premium with a credit card or from a device connected to the internet should access the mpay.gov.md page, select the “Choose service’’ field, choose the service “Compulsory health insurance premium in a fixed amount”, enter the requested data in the form after which to follow the necessary steps, depending on the payment method.Starting with April 1, persons who have not been insured within the period established by the legislation will pay in full the compulsory health insurance premium in a fixed amount, as well as penalties (0.1% of the amount of the premium for each day of delay). Financial penalties will be imposed, depending on the circumstances and the status of insured person will be granted after seven days from the moment of payment.
