Last weekend, Piotr Ibrișim, an investigation officer from the SOUTH Regional Directorate of the GIM, placed first in the 100+ category at the Brazilian jiu-jitsu no-gi & grappling martial arts competition, which took place in Chisinau.
The Moldovan athlete defeated his Romanian opponent in the final of the competition. Thus, Piotr Ibrișim qualified for the European Championship in Bulgaria this summer.
Around 400 athletes from Moldova, Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria took part in the competition. The victory of our colleague honours us and makes us proud. We wish him every success in his sporting and professional career.
