November is recognized as the month of awareness and prevention of violence against women.
For many women, silence does not mean peace - it means fear.
Violence is not always visible, sometimes it lives in one’s eyes, in sleepless nights, in hurried steps on the way home.
Every woman has the right to live in safety, respect, and dignity, regardless of her origin, status, or language. In this context, the General Inspectorate for Migration joins the global campaign to raise awareness about violence against women, reaffirming its commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of people in vulnerable situations.
Through the regulations established to legalize the stay of victims of violence and human trafficking, the GIM provides support and assistance, helping every woman find safety again.
We encourage you to speak up, report any situation of abuse, and above all, ask for help!
