The General Inspectorate for Migration reminds the economic agents and foreigners working in regions other than Chisinau municipality that they are obliged to apply to the territorial subdivision of the General Inspectorate for Migration corresponding to the area where they work or where their employees are domiciled.

Here are the areas of competence of the IGM Regional Directorates:

North Regional Directorate - for the municipality of Balti and 14 districts: Briceni, Edinet, Dondușeni, Drochia, Fălești, Florești, Glodeni, Ocnita, Riscani, Riscani, Singerei, Soroca, Soldanesti, Telenesti, Rezina. Contact: nord@igm.gov.md
Centru Regional Directorate - for Chisinau municipality and 12 districts: Anenii Noi, Călărași, Criuleni, Dubăsari, Hîncești, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Orhei, Strășeni, Căușeni, Ștefan Vodă, Ungheni. Contact: centru@igm.gov.md
South Regional Directorate - for Comrat municipality, Cahul municipality and 7 districts: Ceadir-Lunga, Taraclia, Vulcanesti, Cantemir, Basarabeasca, Cimislia, Leova. Contact: sud@igm.gov.md.
