Celebrating Earth Day means among other things combating people's careless attitude towards the environment, climate, flora and fauna. It's a wake-up call about the deliberate destruction of habitats and irresponsible exploitation of our planet's resources. Role modelling and a long-term responsible attitude can help us keep the planet alive for our descendants.

Therefore, this weekend, the GIM team helped plant over 200 catalpa, mulberry and cherry trees in the Botanical Garden of Chisinau. Earlier, in March, migration officers participated in the sanitation activities in Rascani Park of the capital.

In fact, the GIM team demonstrates an eco-friendly attitude on a daily basis, encouraging paper recycling, conscious and efficient consumption of resources.
