List of documents required to grant provisional residence for foreign nationals employed in Free Economic Zones:

1. Standard Application Form
2. The request of the chief administrator of the Free Economic Zone
3. Alien's national passport
4. Individual employment contract indicating the alien's monthly salary
5. Criminal record from the applicant's country of origin, legalized/apostilled (in the prescribed manner), translated into Romanian, notarized or consular authenticated
6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
7. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

List of documents required for extension of residence for foreign nationals employed in Free Economic Zones:

1. Standard Application Form
2. The request of the chief administrator of the Free Economic Zone
3. Alien's national passport
4. Alien's residence permit
5. Individual employment contract indicating the alien's monthly salary
6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
7. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

1. The documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorized end of foreigner’s stay in the Republic of Moldova.
2. The EU citizens must submit their documents at least 15 days before the authorized end of their stay in the Republic of Moldova.
3. Failing to meet the deadline for application is subject to administrative penalties.
