Considering the upcoming religious holidays in the Republic of Moldova \u2013 Easter on the 21st<\/sup> of April and Memorial Day (Pa\u0219tele Blajinilor) on the 28th<\/sup> of April, which are vacation days, we kindly urge you to plan your stay in Moldova to avoid any potential situations of illegal stay in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To prevent exceeding the legal period of stay, we recommend that you visit the territorial offices of the General Inspectorate for Migration in advance, before the holiday period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be reminded that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreign nationals applying for the granting or extension of temporary residence must submit their application at least 30 calendar<\/strong> days before the expiration of their current stay;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citizens of the European Union must submit their application at least 15 calendar days<\/strong> before the expiration of the period for which their right of residence was granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those staying in the Republic of Moldova based on a visa regime or are exempt from visa requirements, we remind you of the general rule: a stay of 90 days is permitted within 180 days<\/strong>. It is essential to closely monitor these terms to avoid violations of the stay regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreign nationals who were granted entry into the country with a short-stay visa allowing for a stay of less than 90 days may apply for an extension at least 3 working days before the expiration of the period indicated in the visa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
