As a result of special investigative measures, the officers of the Residence Supervision Department of the General Inspectorate for Migration (GIM) detained a 44-year-old Azerbaijani man wanted internationally for fraud involving significant property damage.

The foreigner was detained under art. 166, Code of Criminal Procedure, and placed in the temporary detention isolator of the Chisinau Police Department for further extradition procedure.
