Legal entities with foreign investments registered in the Republic of Moldova, as well as persons with managerial positions, now have the possibility to submit online the application for granting and extension of the right of temporary residence on the territory of the country.

The remote application option is available on the e-migrare.gov.md platform, managed by the General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM), which allows uploading the necessary documents using electronic signature. Thus, the process of submitting the application is completely digital, facilitating fast and accessible interaction of foreigners with the institution.

The main goal of this service is to create favorable conditions for business environment in the Republic of Moldova.

Also, the General Inspectorate for Migration is open to provide continuous assistance to investors and to offer guidance in the process of submitting documents. At present, the use of the online service is optional, but with the finalization of the implementation, the electronic submission of files will become mandatory in order to avoid overcrowding at the IGM counters for the documentation of foreigners.
