List of documents required to grant the right of provisional stay

to highly qualified workers:

1. Standard Application Form
2. Alien's national passport
3. Individual employment contract indicating the alien's monthly salary, which must be equivalent to at least 5 times the average monthly salary in the economy
4. Confirmation of professional training, work experience or specific competence for the post
5. Criminal record from the applicant's country of origin, legalized/apostilled (in the prescribed manner), translated into Romanian, notarized or consular authenticated
6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
7. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

List of documents required for extension of the right of provisional stay for highly qualified workers:

1. Standard Application Form
2. Alien's national passport
3. Alien's residence permit
4. Individual employment contract indicating the alien's monthly salary, which must be equivalent to at least 5 times the average monthly salary in the economy
5. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable
6. Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
7. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

1. The documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorized end of foreigner’s stay in the Republic of Moldova.
2. The EU citizens must submit their documents at least 15 days before the authorized end of their stay in the Republic of Moldova.
3. Failing to meet the deadline for application is subject to administrative penalties.
