- Who can be stateless?
Persons who are not considered nationals of any state under the laws of that state are considered stateless.
- What is the difference between refugee status and temporary protection?
The main difference between refugee status and temporary protection lies in the nature of the protection granted and the conditions under which these forms of protection are provided.
- Refugee status offers long-term protection based on a well-founded fear of persecution by the authorities of the country of origin.
- Temporary protection is emergency protection granted to persons affected by crisis situations, for a limited period and with more restricted rights compared to refugee status.
- Do I need an invitation to apply for a transit visa, and where should I go?
Foreigners applying for an airport transit visa or a regular transit visa are exempt from the invitation procedure, provided they can present guarantees that they will be allowed to enter the destination country or will leave the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
- How can I apply for a family reunification approval?
The application for a family reunification approval must be submitted in person by the applicant (who must be either a citizen of the Republic of Moldova or a holder of a temporary or permanent residence permit in the Republic of Moldova) at the IGM’s one-stop counters for foreigners.

The decision states the factual and legal reasons. If no entry ban has been imposed on you, you may return after 90 days.
