Provisional stay in other cases

Granting

List of documents required to grant the right of provisional

stay in other cases:

  1. The Standard Application Form
  2. The Applicant Beneficiary's Request
  3. The applicant's national passport (original and copy) and the copy of long-stay visa (for foreigners entering on a visa)
  4. Criminal record (in original) from the applicant's country of origin, legalized/apostilled in the prescribed manner, translated in Romanian and notarized or consular authenticated
  5. Documents proving marriage (or, where applicable, family relationship) legalized/apostilled in the prescribed manner
  6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
  7. Original and copy of the health insurance valid for at least 3 months
  8. Proof of means of subsistence in the amount corresponding to the category of residence applied for
  9. Copy of the accreditation card (issued to diplomatic agents, consular officials and members of their families, titular members of the representative offices of international organizations, administrative - technical staff of diplomatic missions, etc.).
  10. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

Extension

List of documents required for extension of the right of provisional stay in other cases:

  1. The Standard Application Form
  2. The Applicant Beneficiary's Request
  3. The applicant's national passport (original and copy) and the copy of long-stay visa
  4. The applicant's residence permit (original and copy)
  5. Documents proving marriage (or, where applicable, family relationship) legalized/apostilled in the prescribed manner
  6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
  7. Proof of means of subsistence in the amount corresponding to the category of residence applied for
  8. Copy of the accreditation card (issued to diplomatic agents, consular officials and members of their families, titular members of the representative offices of international organizations, administrative - technical staff of diplomatic missions, etc.).
  9. A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.

NOTES:

  1. The documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorized end of foreigner’sstay in the Republic of Moldova.
  2. The EU citizens must submit their documents at least 15 days before the authorized end of their stay in the Republic of Moldova.
  3. Failing to meet the deadline for application is subject to administrative penalties.
  4. Presence of both family members is compulsory
