Provisional Residence for Project Implementation
Foreign nationals working in external assistance projects
Granting
List of documents required to grant provisional residence to foreign nationals working in external assistance projects:
- The Standard Application Form
- Alien's national passport
- The individual employment contract indicating the alien's monthly salary
- Criminal record from the applicant's country of origin, legalized/apostilled (in the prescribed manner), translated into Romanian, notarized or consular authenticated
- Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
- A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.
Extension
List of documents required for extension of provisional residence for foreign nationals working in external assistance projects:
- The Standard Application Form
- Alien's national passport
- Alien's residence permit
- Dynamics of employment of local workers
- Individual employment contract indicating the alien's monthly salary
- Criminal record from the applicant's country of origin, legalized/apostilled (in the prescribed manner), translated into Romanian, notarized or consular authenticated
- Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
- A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.
Foreign nationals working in investment projects of national importance
Granting
List of documents required to grant provisional residence to foreign nationals working in investment projects of national
importance:
- The Standard Application Form
- Application of project implementer or public administration/ beneficiary institution/organization
- Alien's national passport
- Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
- A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.
Extension
List of documents required for extension of provisional residence for foreign nationals working in investment projects
of national importance:
- The Standard Application Form
- Application of project implementer or public administration/ beneficiary institution/organization
- Alien's national passport
- Alien's residence permit
- Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
- A (one) 3x4 cm color photo.
NOTES:
1. The documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorized end of foreigner’sstay in the Republic of Moldova.
2. The EU citizens must submit their documents at least 15 days before the authorized end of their stay in the Republic of Moldova.
3. Failing to meet the deadline for application is subject to administrative penalties.
