In the context of the awareness-raising campaign "Be brave, ask for help", the General Inspectorate for Migration organized a training session for officers Call Centre consultants with the aim of reinforcing knowledge on the signs of sexual harassment.
The actions have been focused on combating victim blaming and the stereotypes related to sexual assault, such as the myth that sexual assault could be caused by the victim. More attention was paid to methods of reporting the phenomenon in counselling foreigners.
Since the start of Denim Day campaign, more than 200 foreigners - men and women- have been informed about the national services to which they can report cases of violence and the protection measures available to them.
You can always report a case of abuse to the Green Line of the GIM Call Centre (373-22) 820-007 or notify the GIM officers in our territorial offices.
