Family reunification with a citizen of the Republic of Moldova

Granting

List of documents required for granting the right of provisional stay for family reunification with a citizen of the Republic of Moldova:

  1. Standard Application Form;
  2. Applicant's national passport (original and copy) and a copy of the long-stay visa (for foreigners entering based on a visa);
  3. Marriage certificate (original and copy) transcribed in the Civil Register of the Republic of Moldova;
  4. Valid identity card (original and copy) of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova;
  5. Child's birth certificate (original and copy) transcribed in the Civil Register of the Republic of Moldova;
  6. The original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of the dwelling (cadastral extract or lease agreement accompanied by proof of its registration bearing the stamp of the State Tax Service); 
  7. Criminal record from the country of origin (original and copy), legalized or apostilled (as required), translated into Romanian and authenticated by a notary or consular authority, except for minors under the age of 16;
  8. Health insurance (original and copy) valid for at least 3 months (except for minors);
  9. A 3x4 cm color photo.

Note:
  1. The documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorized end of foreigner’s stay in the Republic of Moldova.
  2. The EU citizens must submit their documents at least 15 days before the authorized end of their stay in the Republic of Moldova.
  3. Failing to meet the deadline for application is subject to an administrative penalty
  4. Presence of both family members is compulsory when submitting the documents.

  3. Marriage certificate (original and copy), legalized / apostilled (as required), translated to Romanian and authenticated by a notary or consular authority;
  4. Valid identity document (original and copy) of the family member, proving his/her legal stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova (residence permit or identity card for stateless persons);
  5. Child's birth certificate (original and copy), legalized/apostilled (as established), translated into Romanian and authenticated by the notary or consular authority;
  6. The original and a copy of the document certifying the right of ownership or use of the dwelling (cadastral extract or lease agreement accompanied by proof of its registration bearing the stamp of the State Tax Service); 
  7. Criminal record from the country of origin (original and copy), legalized or apostilled (as required), translated into Romanian and authenticated by a notary or consular authority, except for minors under the age of 16;
  8. Health insurance (original and copy) valid for at least 3 months (except for minors);
  9. Proof of financial means in the amount corresponding to the category of right of residence requested (the validity period of the bank statement must be no more than 10 days prior to its submission);
  10. A 3x4 cm color photo.

  5. Valid identity document (original and copy) of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova;
  6. Birth certificate (original and copy) of the child, transcribed in the Civil Register of the Republic of Moldova;
  7. The original and a copy of the document certifying the right of ownership or use of the dwelling (cadastral extract or lease agreement accompanied by proof of its registration bearing the stamp of the State Tax Service);
