Granting

List of documents required to grant provisional residence for IT specialists:

1. Standard Application Form
2. Alien’s national passport
3. Consent of the competent authority in the field of IT
4. Individual employment contract indicating the alien’s monthly salary
5. Criminal record from the applicant’s country of origin, legalized/apostilled (in the prescribed manner), translated into Romanian, notarized or consular authenticated
6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
7. A (one) 3×4 cm color photo.

Extension

List of documents required for extension of provisional residence for IT specialists:

1. Standard Application Form
2. Alien’s national passport
3. Alien’s residence permit
4. Consent of the competent authority in the field of IT
5. Individual employment contract indicating the alien’s monthly salary
6. Original and a copy of the document proving the right of ownership or use of dwelling (extract from the Register of Immovable Property or rental contract, registered in accordance with the legislation)
7. A (one) 3×4 cm color photo.

NOTES:

1. The documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the authorized end of foreigner’s stay in the Republic of Moldova.
2. The EU citizens must submit their documents at least 15 days before the authorized end of their stay in the Republic of Moldova.
3. Failing to meet the deadline for application is subject to administrative penalties.
