One-stop-shops for the documentation of foreigners of the General Inspectorate for Migration extend their working hours

From 01 August 2023, the General Inspectorate for Migration will extend the working hours of the Single Windows for the documentation of foreigners:

  1. One-stop-shop for documentation of foreigners, Regional Directorate Centru, address: mun. Chisinau, bd. Stefan cel Mare 124.
  2. One-stop-shop for the documentation of foreigners, North Regional Directorate, address: mun. Balti, Moscow Street, 9.
  3. Single counter for documentation of foreigners, South Regional Directorate, address: mun. Cahul, 79, loan Voda cel Cumplit Street.
  4. One-stop-shop for documentation of foreigners, South Regional Directorate, address: mun. Comrat, 22, Comsomol Street.

New working regime:

  • One-stop-shop for documentation of foreigners, Regional Directorate Centre: 08:00-16:00, with lunch break: 12:00-13:00.
  • One-stop-shop for the documentation of foreigners, Northern Regional Directorate and Southern Regional Directorate: 08:00-16:30, with lunch break: 12:00-13:00.

The single documentation counter for foreigners is the single point of access, which allows the applicant to apply to the General Inspectorate for Migration for the following services:

  • obtaining identity documents for foreigners and stateless persons;
  • granting/extending the right of temporary residence for all categories of foreigners;
  • granting permanent residence;
  • confirmation of the right to repatriation;
  • extending the validity of entry visas;
  • obtaining invitations for aliens at the request of natural and legal persons;
  • obtaining the opinion on the invitation of the foreigner for family reunification;
  • authorized emigration of foreigners from the Republic of Moldova.
  • registration and deregistration of foreigners from their place of residence, etc.

The General Inspectorate for Migration continues to make every effort to provide high quality services that save the time and resources of foreigners on the territory of the Republic of Moldova and to respond promptly to their needs in all regions of the country.
