We remind you that persons including foreigners located in the Republic of Moldova in accordance with the provisions of clause 1 of ORDER №6 of March 26, 2020 of the Commission for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Moldova must carry identity documents (passport, identity card, residence permit in the Republic of Moldova) especially if he/she travels outside his/her place of residence / home address or other place of residence.

FOR THE INDIVIDUALS AND LEGAL ENTITIES’ ATTENTION!

We remind you that if foreigners who have a legal stay at the territory of the Republic of Moldova were unable to submit necessary documents on time to the Bureau for Migration and Asylum to grant or extend the right to stay sanctions will not be applied against them if it is established that these facts have occurred due to restrictions placed on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus epidemic. This rule was included in Provision №3 of March 23, 2020 of the Commission for Exceptional Situations of the Republic Of Moldova. The Bureau of Migration and Asylum reiterates its recommendation to foreign citizens on the territory of the Republic of Moldova to contact us for any matter falling within the institution's competence, to inform ONLY FROM OFFICIAL SOURCES and to comply with the measures ordered by the authorities in efforts to prevent and combat the spread of the new virus.
