FOR THE INDIVIDUALS AND LEGAL ENTITIES’ ATTENTION!

The Bureau Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - suspends the acceptance of applications for granting / extending the right of residence and issuing a residence permit to foreigners in the Republic of Moldova during the state of emergency, except in cases of extreme necessity.

We remind you that if foreigners who have a legal stay at the territory of the Republic of Moldova were unable to submit necessary documents on time to the Bureau for Migration and Asylum to grant or extend the right to stay sanctions will not be applied against them if it is established that these facts have occurred due to restrictions placed on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus epidemic. This rule was included in Provision №3 of March 23, 2020 of the Commission for Exceptional Situations of the Republic Of Moldova.

FOR THE FOREIGNERS’ ATTENTION!

Residence permits issued to foreigners that expire during the state of emergency are extended for 60 days. This rule was included in Provision №10 of March 31, 2020 of the Commission for Exceptional Situations of the Republic Of Moldova.
